 The dangling pearls came from my Grandma, another fun ear ring of hers.

7kids Dec 18th Challenge

It's time for a new challenge at 7kids challenge blog . All 7 KIDS challenges are now ANYTHING GOES! So whatever tickles your fancy is fine with us! The design team has put together some festive cards for the upcoming holiday. Our challenge as a DT was to use silver and gold.

I used gold embossing powder on the stamps.

12 drummers drumming

I'm sharing my drum ornament over at the 7 kids college fund store blog 

I used an old ribbon spool and covered it with Graphic 45's 12 days of Christmas 8x8 paper 

I added flowers and ribbon from my stash

The bottom dangley thingy is a old ear ring that I found in a box of buttons that my Grandma gave me. I love finding old jewelery and using it in my projects.

Glad Tidings Mega Chunky ATC

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Our new challenge starts today over on the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog and the theme is "anything goes".  All of our challenges through the end of this year will be "anything goes" but don't forget that in order to be eligible for a gift certificate prize you must use an image carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store. 

For My project I chose to do a Mega Chunky ATC.  I've made Chunky ATC's before,  you can see one of them  Here (scroll down a little ways). This one is about twice the size so that's why I'm calling it a Mega Chunky ATC.  I had the best time making this.  Of course I couldn't stay away from the Graphic 45 paper. LOL.  Hope you enjoy :)

Snowman 3-D Surprise Card

Happy Friday everyone. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving.  Today I would like to show you another card I made from the  Decorating Snowman HoneyPOP Stamp Set .  You can go HERE to see my other card. 

 This time I made the front of the card with a simple design Because . . .

 

   

The inside has a Surprise!

 It's a 3-D Ornament.

12 days of Christmas card

Happy Friday everyone.  I just got my order from 7kids college fund in the mail yesterday and I immediately ran to my craft room to create this Christmas card.

The paper I used is from the 12 Days of Christmas 8X8 Paper  by Graphic 45.
For the card base and the stamp I used Neenah solar white super smooth card stock .

The Adorable angel stamp is from Crafty Individuals

 And the super cool buckle came from Tim Holtz Idea-ology.

Halloween Care package

I sent a care package full of fun Halloween candy to my daughter at college. I'd forgotten to take pictures of it before I sent it, so my daughter took them for me.  

None of these ideas are new but It's always nice to add a personal touch to make a great presentation.

All I did to jazz things up was use  some paper scraps and made little packages out of it to fill with smaller candy. I crimped the edges and slapped on a label. The labels were already made and came in The 6x6 Tricks and Treats paper pad from Pebbles.

 For the "twisted sweets" I put a belly band around a bunch of licorice with a label.

It's all about the label. LOL

This is the perfect touch to any last minute goodies you need to give.

Witches Hat

Only 2 days left until Halloween. I've got my Witches hat  all ready to go. 

This was another project that my sister wanted me to make for her and again I had a blast making it.  

The fringe around the hat was made out of scraps of paper from The Authentique Glowing collection.

 On the chipboard tag I used a Halloween rub on I got along time ago. It was perfect for this project.

The tag is attached to a black medallion I made and I also glued a cut out flower to it. I added ribbon and tulle for a fancier look and of course The Hat pin adds a nice touch.

If the Shoe fits

I made this awesome witches boot/shoe for my sister and it turned out so cute that I had to make one for myself. It's been awhile since I've done a wood craft and I had a blast making it.
My sister made the vinyl sign which made it tie all in.  I love it!!!  

I used a bunch of different ribbons to make it more fancy.

And of course you have to have a spider dangling from the heal. LOL
