Christmas Card Challenges #9

Our challenge this week is a Color Combo: Red, White & Brown. Please keep in mind that all challenges are optional. The only real rule is that you must create a new Christmas Holiday, Winter or Hanukkah card. Also, it is not necessary to use a SCRS stamp on your card, but we sure love it when you do!

My first post for Sunshine Mail Foundation

 I'm excited to be one of the new Team Leaders for Sunshine Mail foundation. Here is my post:

Hello everyone and welcome back to another wonderful year of fun challenges, new faces and of course bringing sunshine to children by sending in your cards.  Our January 15th theme is “Snow much fun”. We are sponsored again by Bugaboo.  This challenge will run thru Jan. 31st. We hope you will join us by linking up your fun creations for a chance to win images from Bugaboo.  In order to be eligible you must send your card to The Sunshine Mail Foundation. 
Our new Design Team members have been having ” Snow much fun” making their cards. Ann’s “Snow body”  like you card is certainly FUN.  Margaret’s   Sock monkey is very special and  Adina’s  cute penguin is having a snow day.  Come back often to see what the rest of the DT members have been up too, meanwhile have fun spreading sunshine

 

 

Art Chix Self portrait

    I was browsing through my favorite blogs and came across two challenges that I had to do. The first challenge comes from a Art Chix club that I am in over at  ISC.  The challenge was to make a self portrait in the Art Chix style.  The second challenge was to follow your Muse which  comes from Frilly and Funkie.  These two challenges go quite well together.  My Muse was telling me to create something for fun. When I get stuck in the same old groove and am having trouble coming up with ideas, I always go to the whimsically fun Art Chix style. It helps me think outside the box and it's so much fun to do. Here's what I created. It makes me smile :)  I hope it makes you smile too.
