Christmas Gift Card Holders

Here's what I've been up to this week

I made these quick and easy gift card holders

I needed something fast so I looked on Pinterest and there
were several of  these ideas out there.
basically , the present bottom is a piece of paper cut 7 1/2 x 4 1/4 then
score at 3 3/4
The top is 4 1/4 x 3 folded in half
and it's held together by a brad.  I also used ribbon to finish it off  by tying a bow.
Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting :)

Gift Card Box

It's my turn to host the 7kids store blog today and here's my project.  I made this cute box for my nephew's Christmas present. It holds a gift card inside and a treat too.

I used the Drummer Boy Clear Stamps from WPlus9 Design
and for the pattern for the gift card holder I CASE'd from a link on Pinterest and when I went to find the link, it wasn't there.  I've looked every where for it and feel bad that I can't give credit to the person who did it.  I knew I should have pinned it. DUH!!! If any one knows where it came from please let me know so I can give her the credit she deserves.

Glad Tidings Mega Chunky ATC

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Our new challenge starts today over on the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog and the theme is "anything goes".  All of our challenges through the end of this year will be "anything goes" but don't forget that in order to be eligible for a gift certificate prize you must use an image carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store

For My project I chose to do a Mega Chunky ATC.  I've made Chunky ATC's before,  you can see one of them  Here (scroll down a little ways). This one is about twice the size so that's why I'm calling it a Mega Chunky ATC.  I had the best time making this.  Of course I couldn't stay away from the Graphic 45 paper. LOL.  Hope you enjoy :)

I'ts a Virtual Christmas Party

Hello to you wonderful Unscripted Sketches followers.  Welcome to our Virtual Christmas party and welcome to my Family room.  We all know that Christmas and family go hand in hand. So I wanted to talk about my family and the fun things we do for Christmas.  Every year we look forward to Christmas Eve. My Family gets together at my parents house and we have a big Christmas dinner. You will surely find lots of laughter as we love to remissness about our memories of Christmas growing up.  After dinner we have a gift exchange. Since our family is getting bigger we draw names for gifts. It's fun to see what everyone gets.  I love to give presents so I usually give my sisters something small that I have made. It usually involves food.

I made This just for our Christmas in July Party (but now I know what I will be giving my sisters for christmas. I'll put something sweet in the bag. (shhhhh don't tell )

It's a small bag that I decorated with a poem that my Grandma wrote when she was 93 years old. She was always writting poems and we would get one from her each Birthday and Christmas.

I made this cute little carrier for  hand sanitizer for teacher gifts last year. Since it matched the bag I thought I'd share it too. If you want the pattern for it you can google it and I'm sure there will be plenty out there to use. :)

Here are a few gifts I have given in the past.
I'll bet you've seen these ideas before in fact I can guarentee you have. But They make wonderful gifts and I think my sisters would agree. ;)
Atered Hot chocolate can with home made fudge in it.

Altered pringles can with home made cookies in it.

Ingredients for Chocolate Cobbler all wrapped up in a cute pkg.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you enjoyed your time with me and always remember that Family is the most important tradition!  Have fun with the rest of the Virtual Christmas party!
HUGS... Michele
