Here's my card for the week. I am also
sharing it on the 7kids challenge blog today.

I used three different stamp sets to create this Birthday card.

The background stamp is from Neat & Tangled.  Sunburst stamp

The sentiment stamp is from Kraftin Kimmies Sky's the Limit stamp set

The car and balloons come from The Greeting Farm's Beepin' Awesome stamp set

For the Sunburst colors I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks:  Spiced Marmalade

Fossilized Amber, Peeled Paint, Cracked Pistachio, and Wilted Violet.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day and Happy crafting :)

hugs,

Michele

Beepin Awesome

We are having a special anniversary challenge this month

with extra fun and games in the 7 Kids Facebook page as well!

You can find all the details about the celebration HERE.

As always the challenge is ANYTHING GOES and I wanted

to share my DT card with you today

I used The Greeting Farm's Beepin Awesome stamp set

for the background and the sentiment. I embossed them in white embossing powder.

The boy is from The Greeting Farm's  Mega Mini Go Time stamp set.

I colored the background by blending several colors of Distress Oxide inks.

They blend so well!! Then I flicked water on it to create the cool distressed effect.  The two circles behind the boy were also colored with distress inks.  I  love how I can make my own colored paper to match :) It's BEEPIN AWESOME!!!!

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out all the fun we will be having this week on the blog and Face book page. All info is HERE.

Happy Crafting :)

The new challenge over at Frilly and Funkie is a photo challenge.  I was immediately inspired by this picture because of the parrot. I had the perfect vintage image for it. I used the Used the parrot out of the G45 tropical travelogue collection.

This makes for a great male card and just in time for father's day.
