Halloween Costume

Hi everyone!  I believe that like humans, even cell phone's like to play dress up every once in a while and with Halloween coming up I decided to make my cell phone a costume.

I have a clear cell phone case so I can make my own covers.  I used some papers from the Mysterious Halloween 6x6 Paper Pad by Authentique.
and bits and pieces of left over ribbons and BAM!!!! there's my cell phone's Halloween Costume :)

Very fun and easy to make.  Speaking of making something, have you entered our challenge at the 7kids challenge blog yet? if not you have plenty of time to do so.  You can get more info HERE
Thanks for stopping by today and Happy crafting :)

The Challenges are back :)

Hi everyone, I'm so happy to let you know that the challenges are back at 7kids.  Today we start  our October challenge. As always it's anything goes!  As long as you use items that are carried in the 7 kids store, you can join our challenge.

Here's my card for the challenge

I made this card by using papers from the Mysterious Halloween 6x6 Paper Pad by Authentique.
The flowers are from Primas SWEET PEPPERMINT Holiday Kisses collection
The black branches come from the stamp set called Jump for joy by Lawn Fawn
The "webs" in the background are chip board umbrellas from Wycinanka
I used silver nuvo crystal drops on the chip board and the candy dots.

I hope this card gives you some inspiration to make something and join in on the challenge. If your card is chosen, you will win a gift certificate to the 7kids store!!! How awesome is that?

Halloween Tags

Happy 2nd day of October.  Time is flying by so fast!!!!  Today I have a few tags to share with you.  I  used The 3 Amigos stamp set  from Mama Elephant and I dressed the Fox and the Racoon up in Halloween costumes.  They didn't want anything too fancy LOL so with a crown and a top hat you'd never guess who they were huh?

Here they are on goodie bags.

I hope you all have a great weekend and If you get a chance we would love for you to join our anything goes challenge. You can find all the details HERE.
Thanks for stopping by

Halloween Care package

I sent a care package full of fun Halloween candy to my daughter at college. I'd forgotten to take pictures of it before I sent it, so my daughter took them for me.

None of these ideas are new but It's always nice to add a personal touch to make a great presentation.
All I did to jazz things up was use  some paper scraps and made little packages out of it to fill with smaller candy. I crimped the edges and slapped on a label. The labels were already made and came in The 6x6 Tricks and Treats paper pad from Pebbles.
For the "twisted sweets" I put a belly band around a bunch of licorice with a label.

It's all about the label. LOL

This is the perfect touch to any last minute goodies you need to give.
Have a Happy Halloween :) and Happy crafting :)

Witches Hat

Only 2 days left until Halloween. I've got my Witches hat  all ready to go.

This was another project that my sister wanted me to make for her and again I had a blast making it.
The fringe around the hat was made out of scraps of paper from The Authentique Glowing collection.

On the chipboard tag I used a Halloween rub on I got along time ago. It was perfect for this project.

The tag is attached to a black medallion I made and I also glued a cut out flower to it. I added ribbon and tulle for a fancier look and of course The Hat pin adds a nice touch.

Hope you all have a Happy Halloween.
Happy crafting :)

If the Shoe fits

I made this awesome witches boot/shoe for my sister and it turned out so cute that I had to make one for myself. It's been awhile since I've done a wood craft and I had a blast making it.
My sister made the vinyl sign which made it tie all in.  I love it!!!

I used a bunch of different ribbons to make it more fancy.

And of course you have to have a spider dangling from the heal. LOL

Scrapbook Steals Blog Hop

You don't know how excited I am about being chosen to be apart of Scrapbook Steals Blog Hop!  I love a good steal and Scrapbook Steals has the best scrapbooking supplies and they are all "must haves"!

For our projects we were given these 7 Gypsies Vintage  atc's to work with.

Here's what I came up with

In the Box of Scrap that I got last month from Scrapbook steals there was this black board Album from Cosmo Cricket.  When I saw the edges of the album I couldn't help but think It looked like spider legs. LOL.  So why not use it for a mini Halloween album.  The 7gypsies atc's worked perfectly with the Authentique  Glowing collection, which I also received in the Box of Scrap. Thankyou Scrapbook Steals :)  Can you find where all the atc's are?

This Beware page is one of my favorites in the album. It opens up by untying the orange twine.

This is the inside

There's a hidden tag that pulls out too.

I had so much fun making this mini album. Thanks for looking :)
