I'ts a Virtual Christmas Party

Hello to you wonderful Unscripted Sketches followers.  Welcome to our Virtual Christmas party and welcome to my Family room.  We all know that Christmas and family go hand in hand. So I wanted to talk about my family and the fun things we do for Christmas.  Every year we look forward to Christmas Eve. My Family gets together at my parents house and we have a big Christmas dinner. You will surely find lots of laughter as we love to remissness about our memories of Christmas growing up.  After dinner we have a gift exchange. Since our family is getting bigger we draw names for gifts. It's fun to see what everyone gets.  I love to give presents so I usually give my sisters something small that I have made. It usually involves food.

I made This just for our Christmas in July Party (but now I know what I will be giving my sisters for christmas. I'll put something sweet in the bag. (shhhhh don't tell )

It's a small bag that I decorated with a poem that my Grandma wrote when she was 93 years old. She was always writting poems and we would get one from her each Birthday and Christmas.

I made this cute little carrier for  hand sanitizer for teacher gifts last year. Since it matched the bag I thought I'd share it too. If you want the pattern for it you can google it and I'm sure there will be plenty out there to use. :)

Here are a few gifts I have given in the past.
I'll bet you've seen these ideas before in fact I can guarentee you have. But They make wonderful gifts and I think my sisters would agree. ;)
Atered Hot chocolate can with home made fudge in it.

Altered pringles can with home made cookies in it.

Ingredients for Chocolate Cobbler all wrapped up in a cute pkg.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you enjoyed your time with me and always remember that Family is the most important tradition!  Have fun with the rest of the Virtual Christmas party!
HUGS... Michele

And I think I still have that pringles container too...you gave me some fudge in it. Keep up the good work sissy!

  17. Oh my goodness! I just realized that I never left a comment on this post! Love all those lovely container 'treatments'. In my humble opinion, there is nothing more special to give is something homemade...made by the hands from the heart!
